Levelinus Stone

The Levelinus Stone stands north of the village close to the Foel Las (Hen Voelas).

In fact this is a copy. The original stone now resides at the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff. It is believed that the stone was erected by the monks of Aberconwy Abbey as thanks to Llywelyn Fawr for a gift of land near Pentrefoelas in the thirteenth century.
